2012 Green Street Fair in Downtown Plymouth MI coming on May 4, 5 & 6, 2012

It’s Spring in Plymouth and that means the Green Street Fair is coming. On May 4-6, this year, Downtown Plymouth streets will be transformed into an Envirnomentally Focused Outdoor show with displays ranging from electric vehicles to kid’s activities using recycled materials. Greek Islands Coney Restaurant Opening Soon in Downtown Plymouth MI

Opening soon in the old bank building on the corner of Main and Penniman in Plymouth will be the new Greek Islands Coney Restaurant. They have replaced all the windows on the historic building (and maybe soon – even the doors) with work progressing rapidly. The Kids Play Cafe will be missed as a fun spot to take the kids in downtown. But the new owners seem to be investing in some major improvements to the building. And with the new Sardine Room restaurant nearing completion, Plymouth will have a couple of new dining options in time for the summer.

We recently sold this home for one of our clients - a charming all-brick 3 bedroom Colonial home in downtown Plymouth. The buyers happened to be chosen for an episode of HGTV’s House Hunters and so this home (and Plymouth) will be featured on House Hunters this Monday, March 26th at 10pm Eastern (check local listings).

Of course buying a home on a TV show can be a little different than reality. We haven’t seen the show yet so we are looking forward to seeing how much of the story ends up on the cutting room floor…
