The restaurant scene in downtown Plymouth will soon have a new addition. From the owners of Fiamma Grille and Campari’s, comes the new Sardine Room. Located on Main St. opposite Kellogg Park in downtown Plymouth, the location couldn’t be any better! In addition to the imminent opening of Panache 447, the Sardine Room will help further elevate downtown Plymouth as a dining destination.

(Updated 1-6-12) We enjoyed our first Bagel Fragels today. Pretty good product overall and nice to have a dedicated bagel place right in downtown.
MD Bagel Fragel is opening up a Plymouth location at 448 Forest Avenue where Jeff Zak catering used to be. It’s exciting to see a constant stream of new businesses either opening, renovating, or building in the downtown. Small town living with walkable streets and local shopping continues to attract residents and visitors from across the South East Michigan area. Across the street from the future Bagel Fragel location, the new Panache restaurant is nearly ready to go with its new contemporary facade. And Simple Sandwich has even switched back to its original onion roll which we love so much! What more could you ask for?

More than a few of our clients love to watch HGTV’s House Hunters and when the hunt is in the South East Michigan area, it sure can be fun to see familiar places and even faces. Well last week, it was Plymouth’s turn as House Hunters were in town filming at one of our listings on Evergreen. I won’t give away which home they actually bought but look for the episode later this year or early next year!

We finally managed to try out Brick’s in downtown Northville and came away with a fairly positive first impression. The design, service, and food were all quite good and appropriate to the sports bar genre in this downtown location. For warmer months, there’s a spacious elevated, outdoor seating area as well. Inside, there’s plenty of TVs which provide the ‘ambiance’.
Located at 133 West Main St., the restaurant is directly across from Re-Purpose made famous by HGTV’s Cash and Cari. Look for more HGTV activity soon in nearby downtown Plymouth….
